The editorial board of Press Start invites book reviews for its upcoming regular issues! Press Start is an open access, peer-reviewed game studies journal that publishes work produced by current students and recent graduates working in research related to this broad field. Book reviews should contain 1200-1500 words including references and abstract, submitted in our template, and in APA style. Please see our Guidebook for more information and submission guidelines, and do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. The deadline for submission is January 31, 2026. Selected manuscripts will be published in our 2026 issue. Please find the current books available for review below. Should you be interested in reviewing a particular title, or wish to propose a book for review (including non-English titles), please contact the Editors-in-Chief, Andrew Fleshman and Meg Ritchie (eic.press.start@gmail.com).
